Joao Borges da Cunha

JBC

João Borges da Cunha (Lisbon, 1973) is an architect by FAUL – Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon, Portugal (grade Good, cum Laude, 1997). He is a PhD in Cultural Studies (Summa cum Laude, 2014) by UCP – Universidade Católica Portuguesa, by defending  his thesis “Representação, imersão e interiores: Culturas de Espaço em ‘To the Lighthouse’ e ‘Buddenbrooks’”. He is an Assistant Professor at  the Integrated Master in Architecture and at the Master in Teaching Visual Arts, at ECATI – School of Communication, Arts and Information Technologies of  ULHT – Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias, lecturing on History and Theory of Architecture, and on Arts and Sciences of Representation. He was awarded the Prize Branquinho da Fonseca/Expresso/Gulbenkian in 2003.

Inês Andrade Marques

Inês Andrade Marques is a visual artist. She holds a PhD in Public Art from the Faculty of Fine-Arts, University of Barcelona, Spain (2012), a master degree in Urban Design, from the Faculty of Fine-Arts, University of Barcelona, Spain (2008) and a graduate degree in Fine-Arts – Sculpture, from the Faculty of Fine-Arts of the University of Lisbon, Portugal (2000).

She held a doctorate scholarship from FCT – Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia from 2004 to 2009. She lectures at ULHT – Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias, Lisbon, since 2010.

Fernando da Fonseca Cruz has degrees in Environmental Sciences (UAb 2014) and in Geography and Regional Planning (UNL 1992). Has a Msc degree in Urban and Regional Planning, (UTL1996) and PhD in Geography and Regional Planning (UNL 2008).

He combines the teaching functions in Architecture and Urbanism in ULHT with Superior Technical Career in Management and Spatial Planning in Oeiras Municipality.

He published 3 articles in professional journals, has 5 chapters of books published. Has 30 items of technical production. He participated in 21 events in Portugal. He received first prize or honor. The areas of interest are Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences and Computer Science.

In their professional activities interacted with 7 employees in co-authorship of scientific papers. In his curriculum DeGóis the most frequent terms in the scientific, technological production context are: GIS, REN, Town Planning, PDM, Environment, Sustainable Development, Territorial Impacts and Sustainable Urban Mobility.

Elói Figueiredo

Elói Figueiredo (1981) is PhD in Civil Engineering (2010). Eloi is currently the Director of the undergraduate program in Civil Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, ULHT – Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias . Eloi is also a Research Fellow at CONSTRUCT research unit, and he has focused his academic career on lecturing on Structures and Mechanics of Materials and also on scientific research on modeling, monitoring and lifecycle management of Civil Engineering structures.
