Joao Borges da Cunha

JBC

João Borges da Cunha (Lisbon, 1973) is an architect by FAUL – Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon, Portugal (grade Good, cum Laude, 1997). He is a PhD in Cultural Studies (Summa cum Laude, 2014) by UCP – Universidade Católica Portuguesa, by defending  his thesis “Representação, imersão e interiores: Culturas de Espaço em ‘To the Lighthouse’ e ‘Buddenbrooks’”. He is an Assistant Professor at  the Integrated Master in Architecture and at the Master in Teaching Visual Arts, at ECATI – School of Communication, Arts and Information Technologies of  ULHT – Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias, lecturing on History and Theory of Architecture, and on Arts and Sciences of Representation. He was awarded the Prize Branquinho da Fonseca/Expresso/Gulbenkian in 2003.
