Sinopse
“Research after Research” asks (but does not fully answer) about the status and future of architectural research in the face of the climate emergency. It takes the arguments we are developing in our current research project – RESEARCH AFTER RESEARCH, and tries to project them onto architectural research.
Living with the climate emergency demands systematic change across economic, behavioral, and social structures, with profound implications for approaches to the built environment and spatial production. Architecture after Architecture examines how spatial practices might respond to such challenges, going beyond technical fixes, by addressing the cultural and socioeconomic factores that influence how we make, occupy and share space.
We welcome our 2021-22 PhD students in Architecture at the Lusófona University of Lisbon and Porto, with an Inaugural Lecture given by Professor Mário Kruger.
